Paul is a customer-focused results-driven professional that brings over 25 years’ experience in small, mid-market and fortune 500 companies including the Financial, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Retail industries. Paul began his career as an electronic engineer, implementing and testing sonar and complex systems for the U.S. and foreign Navy’s. Prior to joining Redpoint, He was an Information Security Officer for a fortune 500 pharmaceutical company and was a Senior Manager for Avon’s Cybersecurity team where he was responsible for global policy, GRC and awareness training.
Paul has provided strategic planning and oversight to clients, while successfully implementing comprehensive programs and solutions that ensure the alignment between business, Security and IT strategies, reducing risks and vulnerabilities that matured the overall security posture.
Russ is a cyber security and technology leader that has served the cyber insurance ecosystem for over a decade. Working alongside our threat response team and external partners, he is helping victims of cyber-attacks maximize their recovery and drive long-term sustainability. Russ’s experience includes years as an ethical hacker, so he understands the tactics that threat actors leverage and ways to prevent not becoming a victim. He has a proven aptitude for translating complex technical and cyber security concepts into easy-to-understand language, facilitating collaboration between technical teams and key stakeholders.
He has been recognized for his contributions to the insurance industry, earning a spot on the 2017 Insurance Business America Annual Hot 100 List of Leaders. He helped co-author Cyber COPE® underwriting model during his time at Chubb which was later adopted by Carnegie Mellon University for their Insurance Certification Program.
